MARX, ENGELS, LENIN, TROTSKY - IN THEIR OWN WORDS

PREFACE This anthology is an attempt by a life-long Marxist to select, gather and put into a single book certain important and interesting passages relating to the fundamentals of Marxism as well as important ideas relating to various other subjects, as enunciated by the founders of Marxism (Marx and Engels ) and two foremost leaders of the Marxist movement (Lenin and Trotsky.) Although the selections are mine, none of the words (except the titles ) are mine. All the quotations are in their own words. Although there are few anthologies enunciating the fundamentals of Marxism , all of them are limited to one, at most two, of these persons. Furthermore they are limited to a very few topics. What distinguishes this book from such other books is the fact that it tries to encompass most of the important passages of almost all the writings of these four giants in regard to the theory and practice of Marxism.
